Ceramic/composite armor plates are placed in body armor plate carriers and worn to protect against bullets, projectiles, fragmentation/shrapnel and stab threats. Composite armor plates are lighter, thicker and more flexible than steel plates. Most ceramic/composite body armor plates cannot withstand multiple hits to the same area. Composite/ceramic armor has a shorter shelf life and are less durable than traditional steel plates.

This bulletproof vest is modeled after the Russian original EMR camo 6b45 and 6b45-1 bulletproof vests as well as armor upgrade package. The interior and exterior are designed to replicate the original, using a proprietary woven high-quality EMR camo nylon oxford cloth and a similarly thick and fillable padding with a detachable ventilation cushion. It is sturdy and durable while restoring the internal bulletproof plate mounting structure, which allows mounting of similarly sized bulletproof plates. The set includes thickened pearl cotton and an EVA soft rubber lining insert plate for those who need ballistic protection. Additionally, for the first time, the vest’s complete wire quick-disconnect structure has been replicated, allowing for quick opening functionality and a more detailed appearance.

In addition to wearing shoulder and groin bulletproof armor, the model is wearing an EMR camo KMX shirt, a replica version of the 6B47 helmet, eagle eye goggles with EMR camo camouflage hood, a green face mask, and a replica version of the 6B51 protective gear. The model is also wearing black Russian-style full leather tactical boots, and has a contemporary green man appearance.

The full set includes one 6B45 base body (with one front and one back cushion ventilation board each), a pair of shoulder protectors, and one groin protector.

On the front side, the entire surface is covered in MOLLE loops, including the groin protector which is also linked by MOLLE loops, and has two rows of MOLLE loops. On both sides of the base body, there are two circular pillow-shaped soft pouches. These are meant to cushion the gun stock when shouldering the weapon. Each soft pouch can be loosened by pulling two drawstrings on both sides to change the filling material. On the waist side, there are two adjustable buckle straps used to tighten the front and back pieces to the side wrap.

Here is a close-up of the shoulder protector. The shoulder protector is surrounded by a woven strip with Velcro hooks that wrap around the shoulders of the base body and adjust the degree of fit with the base body. The front of the shoulder protector also has two rows of MOLLE loops which can be used to attach lightweight pouches. The inside of the shoulder protector can also be opened up.

To recap, the above description is for the 6B45-1 shoulder and groin protection kit, which includes a pair of shoulder protectors and one groin protector. The shoulder protectors are 30cm high and 33cm wide at their longest point, while the groin protector is 36cm high and 21cm wide.
